items that cater to the East Asian (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, Korean), Southeast Asian
(e.g. Malaysian, Thai, Filipino),European,Canadian and South Asian (e.g. India,
Pakistan, Sri Lanka) diaspora. With our rapid expansion in GTA. We operate 3 grand
stores in Toronto. We teamed up with Walmart since 2015 and have 11 Walmart
in-stores in Toronto and Vancouver area.

About the Role

An Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Manager with daily administrative and employee staffing tasks. An Assistant Manager works closely with Managers to develop operating budgets, recruit new staff members, provide excellent customer service, and resolve customer complaints when necessary.


Responsibilities:

● Supporting store manager in daily operations

● Assisting the manager in creating and regularly monitoring operational budget

● Coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to help drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service

● Acting as the liaison and partner between customers, sales associates, and leadership teams

● Staying up to date with detailed knowledge on new and existing products

● Achieving store financial targets and implementing new and existing loss prevention procedures

● Recruiting, supervising, and developing new staff members

● Working with the leadership team to deliver promotional strategies and programs

● Studying market research and trends to determine and forecast customer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor sales.

Requirements

Requirements:

● 3+years of supermarket experience and at least 1 year of supermarket

management experience

● Good customer service and communication skills

● Familiar with inventory and ordering details

● Effective communication and problem-solving skills
