About the Role
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves working directly with clients to install new systems, diagnose and troubleshoot issues on existing systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency for the clients. • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (2+ years preferred)
LANGUAGE
• Good command of written and spoken English (required) • Second Language an asset

Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems. • Diagnose system issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and offer solutions to customers.
• Ensure all installations and repairs meet local codes and regulations. • Provide guidance and exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform tests using specialized equipment to ensure systems are safe, efficient, and functional.
• Inspect installations before and after maintenance or repairs.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow workplace safety guidelines.
• Document work performed, inspections, and any issues identified.
• Report findings and recommendations for repairs or upgrades to clients or supervisors.
• Communicate with clients about equipment issues, repair costs, and maintenance needs.
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technology and industry trends.
• Communicate and cooperate with Team Lead, Management, supervisors, coworkers and clients, in-person, online or over the phone.
• Participate in training programs and workshops to stay up-to-date on industry advancements, new equipment, and best practices.
• Other responsibilities and duties as required and as assigned by Team Lead or Management.
QUALIFICATION
• Gas Technician 2 (G2) Licence, other HVAC certification, and trade licences as required.
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (2+ years preferred).
• 313A or 313D - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Licence (preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems, including the installation and troubleshooting of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, rooftop units, water heaters and more.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
